Previously with have supported the following worthy causes –

Paroo Shire Council – in our ongoing efforts to provide drought assistance to the community of QLD.

We have provided donations to the Paroo Council for distribution in the local community.

Rotary Club of Longreach – in addition to assisting Paroo Shire Council we have sent funding to Longreach where our fellow rotary club will put the funds to good use in the local community.

In Addition to donations here in Queensland our Rotary club has just made a further donation to ShelterBox to buy two additional boxes, these will most likely be used in the current disasters in Indonesia and assist in rebuilding communities there –

From the Shelterbox web page –

The emergency aid we supply comes in the form of ShelterBoxes and ShelterKits. Our sturdy green ShelterBoxes contain family-sized tents specially designed to withstand the elements and provide people with temporary shelter until they are able to start the process of rebuilding a home.

Our ShelterKits contain all of the essential tools people need to start repairing and rebuilding homes straight away.
